- I will do all sorts of DIY home improvements, but refuse to use power tools. That's what brothers and boyfriends are for ...
- In 2005, I finally visited Venice. I stopped short at taking a singing gondola, but otherwise it was everything I had imagined.
- I love Bollywood movies. Whenever I'm feeling a bit low, I'll watch a Shah Rukh Khan DVD and my heart starts soaring again.
- I grew up with loving parents, good feedback at school and plenty of friends. Yet I thought I was bad and the black sheep of the family. Can there be too much positive feedback?
- I didn't know unicorns were mythical creatures until I was 23. I just thought they were extinct. Still not sure ...
- Many people have said I am like: Liza Minelli, Sophia Loren, Fran Drescher and Barbara Streisand. I'm still trying to see the common thread ???
- Although my housewifely skills are on the low side, I enjoy hanging up clothes. I find it quite relaxing.

*um hum* I thank you for this honor. I have been part of the blogging world for over a year now. This is the first meme I have been tagged with. I must thank sooooo many people. My family. My co-workers. My dog. My chickens. My garden. I know I have missed alot of people. I just want to thank everybody. Oh, yes. Especially, Island wench for nominating me for this meme! Everybody have a nice day! It is such an honor! *sniff*
Thanks again. Seriously, this will be fun! Christina ( I just never had the opportunity for an acceptance speach!)
Oh my, I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed myself now... :-)
I'm looking forward to reading your seven.

The pictures were really tempting..I will try to complete my "7 Facts About Me Meme" and I'll post it as soon as it's done..Thanks again! Tickle Away to a Great Day everyone!:)
Hello
I just found your great blog and spent some time enjoying your insight into island life. I come from the isle of Lewis - also beautiful but O so much colder in the Hebridies...
Thanks for a good read. I feel like I know you a little but sad;ly dont. I live today in crime filled south africa which I dont advise anyone does unless they have to!
Your seychelles seems like heaven. I now plan tovisit when I can make it. It does look very expensive? VERY? or just a little... You are an angle. Maybe I will spot you on the beach selling your art, say hi and chat a while?
Take care and Do keep posting.

Oh, I just heard about the Bollywood movies but never seen one, might look for that...sounds interesting, hehehe..
Anyway, the Meme is up & running in my blog:) thanks for the tag! really appreciate it. have a great week!
hehe, very interesting :-) dunno if Bollywood movies would be something for me... :-)
Star,
The Hebrides seem to be the opposite sort of island to ours here, more of a stark beauty. I friend of mine lived there for a while and loved it.
South Africa, though, doesn't tempt me a bit, I've heard too many stories about the violence. Although, I understand the landscape is breathtaking.
Please do come and have a chat when you get here; it would be great fun. :-)
Hi Island Wench, thanks for tagging me. I don't usually take up tags and if I do, I don't pass them on, (I hope you don't mind.) I just post them in my blog and anyone who wants to tag themselves are welcome.
Anyway, I'll take this and try.
Happy blogging.
Thanks for the invite. I will look you up if / when , more like when I make it over to heaven, sorry seychelles... It looks so unreal. You are correct about the stark beauty of the isle of lewis. Did you know we have beaches with the same white sand as yours only the water is just above freezing! It is very beautifull though. If you are interested in south africa look up zahell.blogspot.com its awfull considering what a lot think about rainbow nations and democracy in africa sa is zimbabwe in slow motion! so sad because like your place there is a lot of good human souls here all races working hard but the politica of africa will see to that. I noticed your prices are very high even by UK levels. Why dont you guys club together and import a container of things say twice a year? Just an idea. ok - must go. Keep posting and thanks again I enjoyed your blog so much.
